Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This policy explains what data Tunic Motion collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers both the Tunic Motion Figma plugin and this website (together, the “Service”). The short version: your animation files never leave your machine, we collect the minimum needed to run accounts and subscriptions, and we don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
1. Who we are
Tunic Motion is operated by Tunic (Abdullah Aydeniz), the developer of the Tunic Motion Figma plugin (“we”, “us”). For anything privacy-related, contact aydenizdesign@gmail.com.
2. Your animation files stay local
The animated JSON (Lottie) files you import, and the animations you export, are processed entirely inside Figma on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers, stored by us, or inspected by us. The plugin’s network access is limited to authentication, subscription status and usage counters.
3. What we collect
When you sign in with Google
- Basic profile information from your Google account: your name, email address and profile picture. We use this to create and display your account.
While you use the Service
- Usage counters: how many imports and exports you have run (lifetime totals and per-day counts). These enforce the free plan’s daily quota and power the activity view on your profile page.
- Anonymous quota data: if you use the plugin without signing in, daily usage is counted against your Figma user ID so the free quota still works. This is not linked to a name or email.
When you subscribe to Pro
- Subscription status: your plan, billing period, and renewal date, provided to us by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.
We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and this site currently uses no analytics cookies. The site stores your sign-in session in your browser’s local storage so you stay logged in.
4. Google user data & Limited Use
Signing in uses Google OAuth. The only Google user data we receive is the basic profile described above (name, email address, profile picture); we do not request access to your Drive, Gmail, contacts or any other Google service.
Tunic Motion’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: Google profile data is used only to provide your Tunic Motion account, never for ads, and never sold.
5. How we use your data
- Creating and maintaining your account.
- Enforcing free-plan quotas and unlocking Pro entitlements.
- Showing you your own activity and subscription status.
- Responding to support requests you send us.
That’s the complete list. No profiling, no ad targeting.
6. Where your data lives
Account, usage and subscription records are stored in our Supabase database hosted in the European Union (Paris, eu-west-3), protected by row-level security so each account can only read its own records. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS).
Processors we rely on
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Google — OAuth sign-in.
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, invoicing and subscription billing (merchant of record).
- Figma — the platform the plugin runs on, governed by Figma’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and everything tied to it (profile, usage history and subscription records), email aydenizdesign@gmail.com from the address you signed in with — we’ll confirm within a few days. Cancelling a Pro subscription stops future billing but keeps the account unless you also ask for deletion.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Email us and we’ll make it happen — there is no dark-pattern retention flow here.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it inside the plugin or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
